Tradition • Motu Proprio • New Good Friday Prayer go to www.cfnews.org/Fellay-Ridgefield.htm
By John Vennari "A mere seven months after the release of the Latin Mass Motu Proprio, Pope Benedict XVI struck the traditional Good Friday prayer for the Jews from the Missal and replaced it with a new one. This latest tampering with the Good Friday prayers fills me with immense sadness. I cannot rejoice over it. click here for full report
Ecumenical Chapel at St. Paul Outside the Walls “Ecumenism is the
Enemy by John Vennari The Papal Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls will open an ecumenical chapel where non-Catholic religions may perform their own liturgies and prayer services. The initiative is part of the Pauline year to begin in June, 2008. Sadly, the opening of the chapel has every indication of being part of Pope Benedict XVI’s ecumenical program that he urged upon his newly-created Cardinals in the consistories of both March 2006 and November 2007.
Vital Organ Transplantation "In 1968, an ad hoc committee was formed at Harvard University in Boston for the purpose of redefining death so that vital organs could be taken from persons declared “brain dead,” but who in fact, were not dead."
ARTICLES: Book review by Paul Zarowny, Ph.D “I
take Kobler to be a 'friendly witness' for the traditionalists’ case
regarding the problems of Vatican II. I
think he is correct in his interpretation of the Council documents. His identification of the role Husserl’s
phenomenological reduction played in the writing of the documents provides a
Rosetta Stone for deciphering the supposed 'ambiguities' in the
texts. His presumption that the Council
was convened as a reaction to the Cold War places it in its proper historical
context.”

Colossal Monument Guerra’s
90-Million-Dollar Eyesore By John Vennari The new Church of the Holy Trinity opened at Fatima on October 12, the eve of the 90th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun. It is a project conceived and completed by Shrine Rector Luciano Guerra, the man who permitted Hindus to worship at the Catholic altar at Fatima in 2004.

"Socci points out that even though he — Socci — was the 'target' of the program; he was not invited to participate in the on-air questioning of the Cardinal. 'Above all', says Socci, 'he avoided my challenges. He didn’t give a single answer.' In fact the Cardinal inadvertently demonstrated that there is still a text of the Secret kept hidden." Why does the Anti-Defamation League Support Pro-Gay “Hate Crimes” Legislation? By John Vennari The
Jewish Anti-Defamation League fiercely supports Hate Crime Legislation to give
homosexuals, bisexuals, transvestites and cross-dressers special protection that
even children and the elderly do not enjoy. Why? The answer comes
from an unlikely source!
Limbo to be Cast into the Outer Darkness? by John Vennari On April 20, 2007, the Vatican announced that it is discounting the doctrine of Limbo, saying that it is a too "restrictive view of salvation". The modernist falsehood now propounded about Limbo defies traditional Catholic doctrine, as is explained in the following article written on the subject last year.
The
Apostolic Exhortation on the Eucharist by John Vennari "More Latin in the New Mass, tabernacle in central location in churches, inculturation, limited intercommunion with Protestants — these are just some of the proposals Pope Benedict XVI offers in Sacramentum Caritatis, the newly released Apostolic Exhortation on the Eucharist."
Perseverance in
Prayer By David Allen White, Ph.D "Many of you reading these words prayed for my parents over many years, for I would often publicly request your assistance. There is no way in which I can thank you. Perhaps this small chronicle of prayers being answered will be thanks enough."
Post-Conciliar Vatican Finally by John Vennari "...though we recognize the justice of this long-overdue correction, we cannot lose sight of the bigger picture. ... Most Catholics forget that the Church throughout the centuries has always frowned upon an all-vernacular Roman Rite liturgy.
Hundreds Gather in Anaheim California for Conference on Traditional Mass On Saturday November 4, an outstanding conference was held in Anaheim, California entitled “Liturgy and Sanity — The Catholic Mass and the Order of the New World (Old and New)." featuring three prominent Catholic priests who are dedicated to the Tridentine Mass, to the exclusion of the Novus Ordo: Father Stephen Somerville, Father Paul Kramer, and Father Patrick Perez... "George’s eyes were glazing over. The 'Indian Rite of Mass' was in full swing at St. Ann’s Church in Toronto on Sunday, July 2, 2006, and he felt he was being hypnotized by the endless monotonous chants and the flowing hand movements of the Indian dancing girls..." An
Interview with Bishop Williamson
An interview with Bishop Williamson on Pope Benedict XVI’s On December 22 of last year, Pope
Benedict XVI gave a Christmas greeting address to members of the Roman Curia at
the Vatican. Given the possible importance of the address, CFN asked
Bishop Richard Williamson of the Society of Saint Pius X for his thoughts and
analysis. In light of these remarks, Bishop Williamson briefly comments on the
present negotiations with Rome.
by John Vennari “Will his pontificate be one of
restoration of Tradition, or Vatican II vs. the Unity Demonstrates that the architects of Vatican II puposely worded the Vatican II documents in such a way as to open wide the doors for the new, pan-religouis ecumenical orientation. A young Father Joseph Ratzinger in 1966 happily admitted that the groundwork for ecumenism was laid in the Council document Lumen Gentium.
Right-thinking Catholics had hoped that the new
Directive would contain the same sort of unambiguous ban against homosexuals
in the seminaries as did the 1961
Vatican Instruction. It appears that this may not be the case. If the new document
contains the “three-year” clause, then the Vatican has left the door open for
homosexuals to continue to be admitted to Catholic seminaries.
The "Bible Alone" is Not Enough!

Levada to by John Vennari
" The secular press repeatedly calls Archbishop Levada a doctrinal conservative, but this is not true. Levada is a man of Vatican II, an enthusiast for ecumenism and interreligious practice. He would have been condemned for his words and actions had he said and done them under Cardinal Ottaviani, his predecessor of the Holy Office."
